Ken Knutson Founder of Bridges Professional Treatment Services had a vision that the treatment process and recovery could be fun and enjoyable and lead to a lifetime of happiness. His vision included treatment programs where clients and staff would respect each other. This comes from the understanding that everyone has strengths and weaknesses and that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect.

"We are all equal in God’s world regardless of whether we’ve been clean for a day or a lifetime.”

The vision of Bridges is to reach as many people as we can and to provide them with excellent service and meaningful support in every aspect of their experience. Excellence is the theme in every detail of the services we provide, from inquiry to continuing care and beyond. The objective of this vision is to create a “forever family” to whom we offer an overabundance of support and love in a beautiful and serene setting. Our genuinely caring staff will provide the tools that each member of this family will need to achieve lifelong success.

This after school outreach creates a safe environment for low-income children (K - 8th grade) to receive positive personal attention, help with homework and relationship building games and activities.
Our focus is to pour into the lives of the children coming to the center. Individuals and groups welcome.

As a regional nonprofit organization serving older adults since 1968, Eskaton continues its commitment to expand services across Northern California.

Through the power of partnerships, Eskaton is able to deepen our footprint of services through affiliation, joint ventures, management and support services. We provide wrap-around home support services in geographic areas to touch more lives and support the 9 out of 10 older adults who live at home.

Our orientation has changed from one of property address identity to broader community coverage. We collectively seek, through value and mission alignment, to serve people through innovative approaches to health, housing and social services.

Statement of Faith
We believe that there is one living and true God eternally existing in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit equal in power and glory and that He created,
upholds and governs all.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. We believe in His miracles, His sinless life, His teachings, His substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for His people and His visible, physical return to earth to judge the living and the dead.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit: baptizing, indwelling and empowering the believer for the exercise of Biblical gifts and the living of a sanctified life of love and service.

We believe in the Bible, consisting of the Scriptures of both the Old and New Testament, as fully inspired, without error in the original manuscripts, and as the infallible rule
for faith and practice.

We believe to be saved from eternal condemnation, a person must be born again by grace alone through faith in Jesus Christ: repent of his sins, receive forgiveness and confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

We believe in the one universal church as the living spiritual body of which Jesus Christ is the head and all regenerated persons are the members.
